Grammer House

Residential

Condition: Built
Location: Lecrin Valley. Albuñuelas. Granada (España)

Renovation project of a small, traditional, rural building with slanted roofs and an adjacent extension originally set aside for stables in very poor condition. Two different styles and materials are proposed that distinguish the renovated portion of the house from the new structure. Stone walls salvaged from the original construction and white brick intended for the extension will host the kitchen, bedroom, and ascent to the new terrace. The entrance hall with the visible stone wall, chimney, and the original wooden stairway in the center of the house make this a room of repose and an extension of the living area.
