At the request of the foundation Empresa Universidad de Granada a new office is designed with an open floor plan for the development of programs of study for universities. Given the activity being developed for the property, the design lays out three distinct areas, paying attention to use: an initial public reception and waiting area for students, a second semi-private area for consultations and interviews of the student body, and lastly, a more private, closed space with rooms for meeting and advising as well as restrooms. The idea is to create a space “in the open” with visual continuity but with the necessary dividers to mark different uses of space while also providing color.
